Soul

I've been reading about American families during The Great Depression.

One man wrote

"Although me and all of my neighbors have lost our cars, we have found the soul of our families."

Something to think about today.

Sometimes bad things help us to find our souls.

Thanks for always putting things into perspective for me. I have found that with everything... with a trial comes the opportunity for growth.

Thanks for that, I needed to hear that. Trials do make us stronger, even though there're not the funnest to go through.

It's soo true that bad things that happen to us sometimes help us see the brighter picture. Why should we value such material things when we can't take them with us in the next life anyway? But family will ALWAYS be there. I love that! Thanks for the thought Ash!

you always are so profound.
do you teach lessons on how to be more profound?
because i feel like i am always blogging about "poop-days" and "bubble-baths" and...well, all that just doesn't sound very...deep. if you know what i mean.
you always inspire me to be better. is it possible to love you more and more and i haven't even seen you for like 3+ years?

sorry to make you the middle man in this......i really don't know how else to contact her! thank you in advance :)
