Our Story
Well here's the scoop.
We met in the fourth grade. I had crooked teeth and Blair had scabby elbows. After a few blisters from the monkey bars and playing tag around the big toy, Blair finally caught up to me. In seventh grade we "went out" and wrote notes...it was pretty serious. Then we broke up and decided to be best friends instead. Secretly we both had major crushes on each other ever after. We made it through many awkward dances, phases, other relationships, bad hair-dos and finally dated a little our freshman year of college. Blair went on his mission to Portugal for two years. While he was gone, I dated and continued studying at BYU. Then, I decided to leave to Brazil for my mission. I left before he got home, so we didn't see each other for three and a half years. But our relationship took on a new dimension as we wrote each other during those years and at the end of our separate adventures, we ended back up in each others arms...right where we belonged. Some friendships just get brighter with time...in fact we plan on this lasting a very very long while.
Blair's a doctor, Ashley's in marketing with a real love for writing and photography. The last five years we've lived in the Caribbean and New York. Now we've settled down (at least for a little while) in beautiful Pennsylvania. We adopted our angel baby Madelyn Grace almost two years ago and we are absolutely smitten with her. You can read about the miraculous chain of events that led us to her here. We're excited about the possibility of adopting more little ones and increasing our eternal family.
