I heart New York.

Lately I've been unusually anal about cleaning the house, overly ambitious about home improvement projects, and extremely giddy about vacations this summer. I think I've got a bad case of spring fever. The thing I'm most excited about is our vacation to New York!! Whoot! Whoot! This is my first time to the Big Apple so I can't wait to be the typical New York tourist. All of you who travel or live in New York (Ali can't wait to see you!), please give us some tips about how to get cheap broadway tickets, great places to eat, sites to see, etc. We'll be there on June 4th to June 9th. Can't wait to meet you, New York!!!

Hello cute kids! You will have a blast in NYC. I suggest you rent a boat in Central Park from the boat house (very cheap for one hour) and have a picnic. Sending you love from the Big Apple, M & D.

Ash I would LOVE to come meet up with you guys in NY. Are you going to be there on a weekend? Ryan will be studying for the bar and I'll be working in the week, but the weekend should work. Yeah?

It's freaky and cool.
And have Blair flex in Central Park for money. And eat gelado.

Hey I found your cute blog and thought I'd say HI! You two are so beautiful together. Sometimes I brag about how cute your story is (being best friends your whole lives). I was really bad with thankyou cards but I wanted you to know the blue serving bowl that you gave me is still one of my favorite party dishes. Have fun in NY... someday I'll go there.

hello to both of you. It's been quite some time since I have seen either of you but I was doing some blog stalking and found you. Anyway, I saw your going to the big city. I don't know if you guys knew but shortly after high school I moved there for about 2 1/2 years so I learned the ropes!!! The best way to get broadway tickets is probably at the theater. Most shows that are sold out for years hold a loterry every morning at 10 or 11 and let you enter your name. If they pick you, you can purchase 2 tickets from 25$-50$ as long as you have cash. This is the best and cheapest way to see good shows but it is a gamble. You can always ask the theater ticket office if they have obstructed view seats that are fairly cheaper and usually availiable and then work your way to better seats once the theater fills in. The other way is to go to the TKTS office in the middle of times square. I think they open at 7am and they will have tickets for like 50$ to most of the shows. They only take cash too so be prepared. Anyway, I am jealous that you will be there. I went in Jan. and I go quite often but it is my second home and I miss it. Enjoy it!!! It was fun to see your blog and to see your doing well. Take care.
