Post Edit: Checking Off The List
Today the S.O's headed out to Lasagesse Beach to catch some waves. I'm proud to say that I accomplished a few of my goals today. I reached out of my comfort zone by being social for once. I tend to shy away from these big group outings where I'm surrounded by complete strangers. I had so much fun today, made some new friends, and soaked up some rays. We also did an impromptu photo-shoot of this little nubbin. Doesn't she make you want to quit your job and raise fifteen children that look just like her?!
In other news...
My hair is still in a bun and has been for the last three days. I swear it's getting moldy up in that elastic. I know, I know...I'm just as grossed out as you are.
I worked out once.
Then at my doctor's appointment on Tuesday the Baby Maker M.D. told me to cool it on the exercise front. Apparently some little people freak out and decide not to come to earth if mama's breaking a sweat. I wasn't exactly disappointed with his recommendation. Now I can eat Funfetti cookies with cream cheese frosting and not feel guilty if I don't run afterward. Doctor's orders....
Post edit: (apparently this last paragraph was confusing to a few folks :) I am NOT pregnant. These are the doctor's recommendations so we can get pregnant. We'll keep crossing our fingers.)
Last night I made a delicious vegetarian lasagna. It was piled high with layers of zucchini, squash, carrots, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, and delicious sauce. Next time I think I'll use half as much spinach, but our taste-buds were duly satisfied with the concoction. If you occasionally like to leave the meat out of the kitchen like me, you can find the recipe here.
I'm still waiting for a chocolate dessert from Blair.
I'm sure he'll be right on top of that as soon as mid-terms are over.
Goodnight.
Sleep tight.

2) Have a similar appointment today. Crossing fingers for both of us!
glad to hear that you're making progress on your list :-)
i think i need to fly to Grenada and see your doctor. mine seems to think that exercise is good for that sorta thing. hmph.
P.S. Thanks for your comment on my photo blog. :)
BEAUTIFUL picture!
And I think there is truth to the "don't exercise so much" thing. I NEVER exercise and got pregnant right away. Cheryl (my sister) is an exercising machine and had 3 miscarraiges before she got pregnant. Her doctor's orders were to stop excercising so much.
ps You're a great photographer, I love your work!
